Summer Poetry Series at Studio 34 in Burlington

Do you enjoy writing poetry? Or have you always wanted to give it a try but felt like you didn’t even know how to get started? If so, join writer, poet, and mindful outdoor guide, Lori Litchman, on a journey through how to write poetry as an act of self-care, an act of resistance, and an act of love. Studies show that reading and writing poetry is really good for your brain. It helps reduce stress and increase feelings of hope.

Each workshop will start with a grounding and short guided meditation to quiet our minds. We’ll read some poetry for inspiration and then get busy writing our own poems. You’ll get an envelope of poetry prompts and a small, poetry journal to take home. No previous poetry writing experience necessary!

$15 per workshop, $60 for all three.
